You Don’t Need a Degree to Have an Adjuster Career

If you don’t have a degree, you may want to consider something that requires a certification or some type of license.

For example, you could become an insurance claims adjuster.   And, in the case of a Texas All Lines License it takes a week or less to train for the license and take the exam. After you  submit the license paperwork and fees to the state, expect it to take about  4 to 6 weeks to  go through that process and get approved.

In approximately 6 weeks you would be able to begin applying to work for companies such as Allstate, State Farm. Or, you could be an independent adjuster and work for yourself through various third party administrator companies.

So, don’t be discouraged even in this economy and with jobs difficult to find, you do not need a degree to do something like becoming an adjuster. And, that’s something that you could do quite quickly.
